Musical Evenings with View of St. Isaac’s Square

Legendary Angleterre Hotel opens the St. Petersburg White Nights season with romantic atmosphere of Borsalino restaurant, where live sounds of jazz, lounge and blues are delivered by famous musicians, with Pierre Eugene, the world known French jazz artist, as a headliner of the event. Daily performances will run during the whole summer season from Monday to Saturday.

Since 2000 live music concerts have been an essential and harmonic part of the Borsalino restaurant`s atmosphere famous for its flawless reputation among true lovers of good music. Today the tradition beloved by many St. Petersburg citizens has been revived through the performances of Pierre Eugene who arrived to the Russian Northern Capital to present his new repertoire. His music will definitely create the ideal ambience for the Borsalino guests, be it a romantic date, cocktail with friends or a business meeting.
Pierre Eugene was born on the Caribbean islands and at the age of four his talent for music was first noticed. His career path started out in Boston, where he polished his skills and became a professional pianist, guitarist and vocalist. Today Pierre Eugene is well known for his music in almost every country from the U.S. and Japan to Australia and Russia.

Pierre remembers: “When I first visited St. Petersburg in 2006 I was impressed by the friendliness of the Russian people and their love of music, which was very important for me as an artist. I was amazed by the architecture as well: the palaces and cathedrals appeared to be grander in reality than on photos I had ever seen in my life. The same with music: when on a paper notes seem to be nothing more but symbols, but when you produce them with your musical instrument, they become a divine melody. For me it is a miracle!”

Pierre Eugene will be performing live from 8 PM to 1 AM daily (except Sundays). Blended with the breathtaking views of the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, exquisite Italian cuisine, and the finest French wines, Pierre Eugene performances at Angleterre Hotel will make any night unforgettable, inviting guests to immerse themselves into the inimitable atmosphere of the Russia’s Northern Capital.
