Mirco Zanini - General Manager of Angleterre Hotel

 

Mirco Zanini was born on 23 April, 1965 in Intra, Nothern Italy. He was educated in Hotel Management School in Bavaria, Germany. After graduating the course he trained for 2 years  in Koln, Germany.

In 1986 – 1991 Mirco was employed in the Operation Department of hotels in Italy, Switzerland and Germany. In 1992 – 1994 he went through a training which covered all departments of Dorint Congress Hotel (ex Inter-Continental), from Food and Beverage to Sales and Marketing. In 1998 Mr. Zanini arrived to St Petersburg and started his work as a Restaurant Manager of the Angleterre Hotel. By that time he had a massive experience of working in Hotel Principe Di Savoia, Milan (1995) and London Gatwick  Airport Hilton Hotel, London  (1996 – 1998). In 1999 he was appointed Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and then in 2002 – Food and Beverage Manager. In 2004 Mirco Zanini became Director of Operations (Deputy General Manager) of the Angleterre Hotel, in 2005 – Director of Operations (Deputy General Manager) of the Rocco Forte’s Hotel Astoria, in October 2007 – General Manager of Angleterre Hotel.

Mirco Zanini is a member of Hotel & Catering International Management Association (MHCIMA). In 2001 he received Company Award (Rocco Forte Hotels) for generating profit.

Speaking about private life, Mirco is single, likes roller skating and traveling to quiet places away from the roaring life of a big city. He also practices sports and winter skiing and prefers Italian and AsianCuisine.
