Leningrad-Style New Year

This New Year's Eve, Angleterre Hotel invites you to immerse yourself in a delightful atmosphere of nostalgia for the carefree time of childhood and youth at Borsalino and Caviar Bar restaurants.
Guests will be transported back to the era of feel-good Soviet films and television shows, well known, much loved songs and dancing, fireworks, the clinking of champagne glasses, and joyous expectation as the sound of the midnight chimes approaches.

All night long, the evening will be accompanied by unforgettable melodies from Soviet comedies performed live by the celebrated pianist Dmitry Gaivoronsky. A spectacular show by the Subboteya music ensemble, accompanied by popular Soviet dances, will create an unparalleled New Year  celebration, keeping revellers entertained right through to the morning. New Year surprises, games and competitions will guarantee that no one leaves without a gift.

New Year Menu
The menu for the evening will comprise traditional Soviet and Russian cuisine, as well as Italian dishes prepared by executive chef Antonio Voci: Sicilian-style swordfish carpaccio, suckling pig with honey and rosemary sauce, stuffed duck with cranberry sauce, Russian pickles, blini (pancakes) with red caviar and salmon, and a whole host of other delicacies.

A children's room will be set up in the Banqueting Hall of Borsalino I from 9 p.m. until the end of the festivities, complete with a children's entertainment programme.

Borsalino restaurant - 8 500 rubles
Caviar Bar restaurant - 7 500 rubles
Prices include VAT.
Children under 12 are entitled to a 50-percent discount, while children under seven can attend free of charge.
